Bruce hits it out of the Pahhhhhk!
My man from Freehold, New Jersey stepped up to the plate in Fenway Pahhhhk and well, performed like an all-star… hit after hit!
It’s after 2am right now and I can’t sleep! Bruce rocked Fenway…the concert was beyond amazing. I’m still on cloud 9…wherever that is!
The “first pitch” was Thunder Road...yes, Thunder Road!!!! I was in a state of shock. Bruce at the mic with his harmonica and Roy at the piano…nobody else from the band. Wow! It was magical. What a perfect start to a game…I mean, concert!
The “closer”…American Land complete with fireworks bursting in air… over the Green Monstah. Despite some rain (just for the last 45 minutes or so of the show)… the concert was heavenly…definitely a religious experience!
Between the “first pitch” and “closer” there were some major “plays”… Sherry Darling, Frankie, Quarter to Three, and a cover of Knock on Wood.
Once again, a most valuable performance from my MVP…Most Valuable Performer… Bruce Springsteen.
Fenway Park, August 15, 2012…definitely a show for the history books!
